Explore wood wall design shaped by nature, art, and the character of solid oak. From organic landscapes and natural structures to artistic experiments and exhibitions, discover the ideas behind Navdesign panels and the stories that inspire their sculptural forms.

We presented our collection of solid wood wall panels at Warsaw Home & Contract 2023 at Ptak Warsaw Expo, one of the largest trade fair and congress centers in Central Europe.
Especially for the event, we created a sculptural furniture piece featuring our Soul of a Tree pattern, exploring how the same design language used in our wall panels can become part of furniture and architectural applications.
The exhibition also gave us an opportunity to meet visitors, architects, and clients in person and see how they interacted with our designs. Their conversations, observations, and feedback became another valuable source of inspiration for future projects.

WHITE SILENCE
A Visual Metaphor for Stillness
White Silence explores the idea of white noise and the unexpected power of silence. Just as white light contains the full spectrum of visible light, white noise combines multiple sound frequencies. The design translates this concept into a quiet, tactile composition that invites a moment of reflection.
Our wood wall design ideas also explore the relationship between material, art, and perception. Rather than treating wood simply as a decorative surface, we use its grain, depth, and natural imperfections as part of the composition.
The panel was inspired by the photography of © Cheryl Rose, whose images capture the subtle beauty and stillness of the natural world.

Melancholy
A Quiet Mountain Landscape
Melancholy was inspired by a mystical mountain landscape emerging through mist as sunlight reaches the ground. Its simple circular form and subtle relief create a calm composition designed for minimalist and contemporary interiors.

Nature is one of the most important sources of inspiration behind our wood wall design. Landscapes, movement, textures, and organic structures are transformed into sculptural patterns carved in solid oak. Each design begins with an observation and evolves into a distinctive three-dimensional surface.

ICEFALL
Inspired by the Movement of Ice
Icefall draws inspiration from glaciers and their dramatic, fractured surfaces. The design captures the impression of frozen matter in motion, translating the irregular rhythm of crevasses and flowing ice into a sculptural wooden composition.

Atheris
Nature in Its Most Intricate Form
Atheris snakes are known for their extraordinary overlapping scales and almost mythical appearance. Their intricate natural structure became the inspiration for one of Navdesign’s signature patterns, transformed into a rhythmic relief carved in solid oak.
Every pattern begins with an idea, but its final character emerges through material, scale, light, and the space around it. Explore our collections to discover how these inspirations evolve into solid oak wall panels, sculptural artworks, and large-scale compositions for contemporary interiors.
